How far is JKIA from Nairobi city centre?
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is approximately 15km south-east of Nairobi city centre. Transfer time is typically 40 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. We always recommend allowing extra time during morning and evening rush hours.
What if my flight is delayed?
No problem — we monitor all flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, we adjust your driver's arrival time automatically. There are no additional charges for flight delays.
How will I recognise my driver?
Your driver will be waiting at the arrivals gate after baggage claim, holding a sign clearly showing your name. We will also send you the driver's name and phone number in advance so you can contact them directly if needed.
When should I book my departure transfer?
For city hotels, your driver will collect you 4 hours before your flight. For hotels in Westlands, Karen, Runda and other outer areas, please allow 5 hours. Nairobi traffic can be unpredictable — we always recommend being cautious with timing.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment in Kenyan Shillings (KES), US Dollars (USD) and M-Pesa. You can pay the driver on arrival or pre-pay when booking. We issue receipts for all transactions.
Can you transfer me directly to a safari camp?
Absolutely. We offer direct transfers from JKIA or your Nairobi hotel to all major safari destinations — Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Tsavo and more. If you are booking a safari with us, your transfers are included in the package.
Do you offer transfers from Wilson Airport?
Yes — Wilson Airport serves domestic routes including Air Kenya and Safarilink flights to the Masai Mara, Lamu and other destinations. We provide pickups and drop-offs at Wilson Airport to all city hotels and safari camps.
